QuickBooks
We can link your Microsoft Access, FoxPro or Visual FoxPro program to QuickBooks. Many companies need custom sales, order entry and invoicing programs. We can create or change records in QuickBooks and we can read records in QuickBooks.
In addition, if you have a web-site, we can automatically keep your web-site data(i.e. inventory, customers, etc.) current. We can update your site every minute, hour or day automatically.
We can also update your QuickBooks from web-site data.
As an example, this is how ERW integrated its on-line Project Manager/Time and Billing/Invoicing system to QuickBooks.
We have a Visual Basic program which looks for new invoices in our on-line SQL Server system. When one is found, it checks to see if QuickBooks already has that customer. If not, we create a new customer record using QODBC (a program which allows us direct access to QuickBooks records). QuickBooks automatically creates a unique number which is assigned to the new customer.
We then post the unique number back to our on-line customer record. Then we create the invoice in QuickBooks and it takes over from there for such things as aging and other reports.
