 Buy and Sell Custom Software

Buyers

We are actively seeking programs written in Microsoft Access and Visual FoxPro. We will be offering to you programs, with source code, that will allow you to cut your development time by weeks or months and your programming costs by thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars.

If you do not need to begin your project immediately, why not take the time to let us know what you are looking for. We will post your needs on this site. We may find what you need or something close enough to be a good investment.

Most of the programs will be offered by developers who are willing to do additional custom work for you. If they do not want to do the work, ERW will be happy to help you. Why not do a quick cash flow analysis then let us know what you want.

I want to provide information about a program I need.

Sellers

We will be the "middle man" between available software owners and purchasers. We will actively promote the sales of all licenses we list.

We want fully functional applications as well as useful user defined commands, functions and small programs.

All software must come with all source code - no "black boxes" such as DLL's with no source unless clearly stated. The intent of this site is to offer software that purchasers can build upon.  Some software may represent only a fraction of what the buyer wants but still may save the thousands of dollars and months of development time because it can be used as the software framework (or foundation).

1. Seller must provide evidence that he/she has a valid copyright to the software.  If the work was done for a company, the seller must provide evidence from the company that he/she can license the software. If the company wants a percentage of each sale, we must know about that in writing.

2. If a company has software to license and the work was done by independent developers, we must have a release from the developer or know what percentage he/she is entitled to.

3. A history of the program must be provided including how long in use, how many users, how many concurrent users, a description of the program in bullet form.

4. A few paragraphs about the developers qualifications must be included.

5. A complete working copy of the program, along with source code, must be provided to ERW to be put into escrow and to be delivered to buyers.

6. Any user or technical documentation will be helpful in selling license.

7. Any user testimonials will be useful.

8. Marked up screen shots are very helpful in selling.

9. Need amount developer expects to be paid per license. We will markup the price to cover our overhead, advertising and profit.

10. Need to know how much per hour the developer wants to support/change the software and whether he/she is willing to provide ongoing support.

11. Developer will have to sign a noncompete agreement.  Any customers we find for his/her software will remain ERW customers.

12. The software is licensed as is without any warranty express or implied. It is only intended for a company with a sophisticated, knowledgeable programming staff or company

13. We reserve the right to publish any licensor feedback.

14. We reserve the right to stop selling your licenses at any time with or without cause.

Please let us know if you are interested in our selling your software licenses.
