We have developed tools that find an replace thousands of occurrences of such differences between Clipper 5.x code and Visual FoxPro (e.g. “:=” to “=” or “STATIC FUNCTION” to “FUNCTION”).
We also have a program to clearly mark those areas that need a programmer’s intervention. The programmer can then use Visual FoxPro’s Code Reference tool and quickly (in most instances) make the necessary changes.
