Get more mileage from your old FoxPro program:

We will work with you to keep it going as long as possible. 

If you need some state-of-the-art Visual FoxPro screens and reports, we can create a separate program that will read and write to your old FoxPro files so you will be able to use your old program and your new one at the same time.

This means there is no need to convert the parts of your old program that do not need conversion.

If you eventually want all of your program converted to Visual FoxPro, we can do that too.

We have decades of experience in old FoxPro and Visual FoxPro.

Our first programs were done in dBase II. We then programmed in dBase III, Clipper, FoxBase, FoxPro for DOS and Windows, and Visual FoxPro. In fact, until about 1995, we did FoxPro work exclusively. The owner, Wes Wilson, has over 20,000 hours of FoxPro 2.6 experience and thousands of hours more of Visual FoxPro experience. If you want an excellent Visual  FoxPro program, you should hire and experienced expert Visual FoxPro programmer.

For us to give you an estimate, we need the following:

- the entire program, including the database. 

- we do not need your confidential information.  You  can delete any confidential information. We need only a few “dummy” records.  If you need help in creating “dummy” data, we will be happy to work with you.  However, see the next section first.

- a list of features in the old program which you do not need.

- a list of new features you would like in the new program.

How to get your program to us:

- “Zip” your program then click here and send the file to us.

- copy the entire program, including data to a CD or DVD and mail or “overnight” it to us.  If you would like, we can immediately make your data “dummy” data and then destroy the original or return it to you. BE SURE TO TEST THE CD OR DVD ON A COMPUTER OTHER THAN THE ONE WHICH CREATED THEM.

- copy your entire program, including data to a temporary folder then delete confidential data.  You will need a developers copy of FoxBase or FoxPro or Visual FoxPro to do this.

- if you need a “nondisclosure” agreement signed, E-mail or fax it to us. If you do not have one, we will be happy to provide one to you.
